Am I too good?

I am working on completing every challenge for this game. I have finished Thompson Expert III 4 times now. How can I complete it 4 times? Because every time I turn my xbox on and go to WaW it tells me that "persistent rank data has been corrupted", blah blah blah, and I've been reset to 10th prestige level 65. No problem right? Wrong, because it resets all the headshots I got on my previous session so I have to get all those challenges again. My OCD is driving me crazy and I don't feel like doing the challenge a million times. So how does this make me too good? It seems to me that I get reset every time I get 30+ kills in TDM WITHOUT HACKS (unless you count the mp40 from time to time ). So does WaW reset your stats everytime you get a certain number of kills? And if so can someone tell me that number so I make sure not to go over it.
