Patrick,
I have notice from your DxDiag your display driver is from 10-16 and there is a updated driver from 10-25. Update your video driver to the 10-25 version and make sure it's being displayed in the DxDiag.
Unfortunately, we cannot handle refunds directly, as our distributors take the product back in bulk from retailers. You will have to return the product to where purchase was made.

I feel bad for ya man. I've had it installed for a few days and have had no problems at all. Everything maxed and no stuttering at all. Have you tried completely wiping the game and reinstalling? Is anything else running while you're playing? Hopefully you can take care of the problem because it's really a fun game. Good Luck

Man that's a shame. they really need to help you out. Only other thing I can think of is maybe try validating the files through steam(if you haven't already). There's gotta be a solution somewhere. If worse comes to worse maybe try a complete reinstall for your OS/system. I know it sux, but if it works then it beats wasting $60 on the game.
If it helps, here's the specs to my system(sold my golf clubs and old rig to build it)
i7 860@3.5ghz
Gigabyte P55A-UD4P
4GB DDR3 1600
2x HD6850 X-fired and oc'ed to 950core/1100memory
Creative X-Fi Xtremegamer
Win 7 Ult. x64

Thats an excellent system and it shouldn't have any problems with the game. Things I would do are:
1. Check gpu drivers
2. Run Memtest86+ to make sure your memory isn't failing and stress test your GPU to make sure it isn't failing(I had the same problem with BFBC2 and it turned out to be my memory, then a month later my old GTX 260 took a dump)
3. After you determine the others are ok reinstall the system and start from scratch. You might have parts of an old driver on it that's conflicting with your current driver. If you deleted your driver, then may have also deleted something else you should not have.

Your later responses are not mature at all and sound like an angry pre-teen. I give them kudos for sticking with you as long as they did. Had you started talking like that to me, our conversations would have ended.
I understand your frustration, but treating people like **** that are obviously trying to help you is not the way to go. Perhaps be mature and show them some respect for attempting to help you, when most likely you will need to wait for a patch to fix your issue anyway.
Just my two cents.

To be honest, if he's having all those problems, I can understand his attitude and demenor. A $60 game should not cause these kinds of issues, PERIOD. Luckily I'm not having the same problem. Being it's still around Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for that!!

I'm not saying Activision is perfect, but Treyarch has to fix these issues. Activision Support is given a list of things to give people to try and that's what they do. Can't really blame them for trying to help you, when these latest issues are most likely out of their ability to fix.
And my kudos was for them sticking with the OP after he started acting like an ass.

I disagree about the demeanor. Feeling wronged is not an excuse to treat someone like ****, especially if the person you are dealing with had nothing to do with the problem in the first place and is trying to help you despite that. Respect goes a long way on both sides.
This is Treyarch's mistake and not the poor sap trying to help people at Activision Support.

Since Treyarch hasn't even been able to tell us about a patch, then I'm certain Activision has nothing to report either. Keep in mind, they are two separate entities. Activision Support can only tell you what they know.
Why would there be a grand conspiracy as so many seem to think? What benefit would it do Activision or Treyarch to screw over customers who have bought their products? All companies are out to make money and these are no different.
They are trying to fix it but it takes time. Coding is incredibly complex and often fixing one problem creates another, as we have seen with the last patch. It is a laborious process and can take a while, but it will happen.
They want you to buy their next game. It's in their best interest to fix it and make their customers happy.

well even if they dont fix this there will always be some naive people willing to buy their next version hoping it will be better....and if activison doesnt know whats goign on asking might be a great idea rather then just damaging their reputation......thats already happend i guess and as for Treyarch...it would have taken them 30 sec to post on forum whats going on...do the care so little that they cant make effort to do that considering how many has problems...they could have said we workign on it...given what time they expect to be done...and sorry so many has problems...but no...they couldnt do that ONE very simple thing......and that makes me loose all respect for both companies....cuase it tells me they care about one thing...and thats money...like many have said before they seem more willing to help consol gamers rather then those with PC...so who knows...maybe they hope to drop PC games and focus on consol

I agree their communication is lacking, but unfortunately that has been their MO since way back (IW was just as bad). This leads me to think that Activision is controlling that to some degree, but since I don't work there I can't be sure.
No matter the issue, I have a feeling we are being told what they are ALLOWED to tell us and it's not a matter of them not caring. Probably just as frustrating for them as it is for us. I do agree with a number of peoples' opinions about other communication methods, though. I should be able to get an update more easily in the forums than having to follow Twitter or some other medium. Forums should be the main source of information, period.

What do you expect the guy to do? He has provided everything they ask for then they ask for it again. I am having the same issues, all my drivers are up to date everything runs fine except Black Ops.
It pisses me off how all the issues and fixes for them are being posted by customers or other 3rd parties..... No help from Activision or Treyarch.

Once again, I understand the frustration. But resorting to comments such as he did will get him nowhere. The people at Activision Support are the not the reason for his anger, so why treat them badly.
I have seen this too many times with regards to people in customer service. You have to remember that the person you are speaking to did not put you in this situation and is trying to help you. Treating them like **** will not improve your situation and, in fact, may worsen it as they may choose to do the bare minimum to get you out of their face. Mutual respect can get you a long way in the world. That's all I am trying to say.

So, from your point of view, the line worker who has no say in the decision-making process should have to bear the brunt of consumers' anger? I know a certain amount of that comes with the territory but wholesale blame being thrown in their lap is hardly fair. They are doing the best they can with the tools they are given and for that they should be commended.
If you are truly that upset with Activision, take it up the chain and speak with their upper management. However, cussing out the poor bastard in tech support makes no sense to me.

seta r_multithreaded_device "0" and change the "0" to "1"
I hope it helps

@Aeronut
I'm 18years old 1992-07-09 i'm angry because of all problems....
Also its kinda untrue that Activision has nothing to do with those problems.
I guess you know Activision is behind the walls from Black Ops ? And they give commands to Treyach to make this game.
We are running on Steam because of Activision/Steam... Steam said we pay you that much to run this game on our base and Activision just thought ah why not or something like that... So yes they only care about money dont you think?
Dont blame Treyach only its also Activision...
Look how crapy this bullshit forums are you can't even login normaly or place a normal reply without being logged out....
The forums topics from the Moderators are not even updated all the time except for the Xbox360.....
Pcdev should make a dump sticky which is not even posted...
@COD420Man @JD_2020 @BlackhawkDD minidump sticky is coming. sorry for the delay. 8:53 AM Nov 23rd via web in reply to COD420Man
http://twitter.com/pcdev
I just think the Pc Community will go the same way as they did with Modern Warfare 2 the good old time's with Call of Duty are just gone some of us know this already. I still have the hope for a patch to make my and all others game good without crashes or lagg.
But since they are ignoring us what Infinity Ward also did after some time i can't have the hope for a good game
Hope people here know my problem and are not reading this forums only there are allot of forums where they blame about Activision/Treyach/Infinity Ward. And there are several forums where they care about this game and give good stuff to fix some problems maybe not all but still...
Also if you see the twitter from JD_2020? Idk.. you can see he is a clearly poor kid who plays on the Xbox360 and posts his movies on the Twitter OMG I GOT A AWESOME TOMAHAWK KILL!! naha great for you not great for us... Its time to give us PC Community more information instead of posting bullshit movie's without solutions for there game aint it?
JD_2010 said why we should follow him on Twitter this is because TWITTER IS SO GREAT.. But wtf??? They got a **** forum they dont need twitter or facebook? Without that they will still be a known community...
Anyway i dont have any words on how they ruin a game only because of money. I know money can do allot of bad things with humans but that doesn't mean you need to ignore the pc community and not the Xbox360

Also Aeronut You know the different between a Moderator of the forum and a programmer?
The people who update this game are not the people that needs to updates the forum
@Zer0Hour Very much thanks for understanding me!!
@all other who understand me and my problem thanks for it
