Best Size TV  For COD

Post » Fri Jul 06, 2012 1:22 am

I agree, I used to play on a 42" and that burned out I now have a 73" and its awsome however I do not play as well you can't stare at the center of the tv and see all 4 corners so IMO it slows you down. As soon as my workshop is finished im putting in a 42" + xbox + lazyboy + a lock on the door + a few tools in the corner = happy man cave.

LOL, I love the lock on the door idea.  My man cave was taken away.

Wow, I just got my 37" lcd for just over $500 after taxes at Sears Grand. You should be able to get a hell of a set for $500 or a little over.

I would have to say 32-42. Anything smaller would only be fun if nobody is watching you play and you are sitting close to the tv.  Anything bigger then you would have to start turning your head right and left, up and down...Having a 32-42 inch sitting about 8-10 feet away is perfect for gaming.

I have a samsung 40" 720p. 10k contrast ratio.
I believe CONTRAST is really important as well. Higher is a lot better. I notice the differences on games more than regular tv shows/movies.

I believe I have a 3X, as in 30, with another number, I think it's 32. But the best TV size is Wide Screen, the game was also made for it, for example use a Type 100 Box Mag. the bullets will go to the Right arrow (Kill streak reward).

I play on a 61" Sammy DLP in my living room and a 22" LCD in my study, I play the exact same on either.

There is no "best size", it all has to do with how far you are from the screen.  When I play on the 22" I sit about 1 foot from the screen and when I play on the 61" I sit about 10 feet away.

It seems that many have this same opinion about the distance.

I play on a cheap 29" CRT tv. It wasn't being produced anymore because of some things that were wrong with it, best bargain I've ever got.

The bigger the better, as long as you can see the entire screen in your line of sight. I play on a 51''.

Personally, I'd rather have a higher resolution set than a huge display.
Although the game is upscaled from a sub-720p render, I'd rather play on a 22" 1080p computer monitor than a 60" SD display.

I find 32" to be perfect for me. So perfect that I went out and bought another.....now I have 2 360's and 2 32" lcd's. I also sit only about 3 feet away, and can see everything on my tv at the same time. It really helps the reaction time.
